About Silver Shoe B&B
The Silver Shoe Bed & Breakfast is owned and operated by Sandra Gunther, with some handy help and support from her husband, Dana. They bought the former Noble House in Upper Canard and transformed it lovingly into the beautiful and elegant inn it is today.
Originally built by renowned Nova Scotia carpenter Silas Patterson in the 1870s, the mansion was spared little expense in the quality of its construction and appointments, many of which are still very much in evidence today. The original beauty and charm are preserved, and Sandra ensures that guests benefit from the spacious comfort of the rooms and suites.
